Advert T5


This is a presentation of the plan and objectives of our advert

Advert T1



In my survey i have created a number of questions which will help us decide our target audience but we are confident on the fact that it will appeal to everyone meaning, those who may not already have a Samsung phone.   https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/92C2QYX



Focus group



In our focus group we were asking everyone questions regarding their phones such as how much they are willing to spend and whether or not they like.

Question: How much are you willing to spend on a smartphone?
Response: Under 500, round 300

Question: Do you prefer phones with better battery life?
Response: Yes i do and the iPhone battery life is terrible

Question: Do you prefer a big screen?
Response: Not too big but not too small either

Quesion: What features do you like on your iPhone
Response: Everything such as the settings and background display

In our focus group we discovered same of the things that they want in phones is a good long last battery. Something that was pointed out by someone in the group is that they always complain about their iPhones battery life and so do their friends with iPhones.
From the surveys i discovered that overall the people use iPhones more than Samsung devices which is probably because they find it easier to use than a Samsung which is the question in the survey and scored higher than 'i find the samsung device easier to use'. which overall shows the iPhone is more popular.

Advert T2

This storyboard will have the main focus of having humour within the advert whilst also showing the features of the Samsung device which is what we will be advertising.
The advert that we have come up with is aimed to be a realist advert because we will be genuinely be testing the phone whilst recording and showing how good the phone actually is. Within the advert we will be showing the different features of the phone such as the camera and how it handles recording and taking pictures of the scenery.
We are aiming for this to appeal to people who may be into taking pictures of sceneries or general pictures such as selfies. Our advert will appeal to our target audience because there are people who are really into taking pictures and even professionals would like to try out this phone just to see how it is and if they would like to use it regularly themselves.






This second advert will be mainly aimed at another feature of the phone which is the water proof feature. What we will do is show the phone falling into a sink full of water and removing it and showing that the water has had absolutely no effect to the phone. This advert can be seen as a shock advert and this will be good because the audience will react by thinking that the phone can be beneficial to them. This feature will also give people the ability to record and take pictures under water which some people actually do with cameras that are meant for under water and being able to go under water with your everyday phone will be saving them money and attract them.

Advert T4

We should not run into any legal or ethical issues because we have not stolen anyone else's ideas for our advert. We created the ideas for the advert ourselves. We also will not have problems when it comes to copyright music because whatever artist's music we decide to use we will approach them to ask if it is fine to use their music in our advert.
We also are not going to be showing any false advertising and filming everything in realtime. The false advertising will be mainly focused on the phone we are advertising because people will also use this phone in real life and expect it to do the same thing as in our video which it will.
